It’s endlessly cringey that some PS owners have a problem with old games being ported to PC. @MaccaMUFC Most here don't seem to get that the majority of console owners are casual gamers. I dare say there’s a lot more casual gamers out there who prefer to sit on their sofa for a quick game of their favourite game than PC gamers who sit at a desk.

Widely regarded as one of the best fighters of all time, Tekken 3 landed in PlayStation gamers’ homes a year after it first entered the world in arcade cabinet-form. Its side-scrolling fighter action threw in an element of 3D depth, allowing players to dodge attacks by jumping towards the background, and its roster of characters was about as diverse as you can get. Who knew that a gruff, ash-white-and-red guy would become such an engaging lead? Sony did, apparently, and Kratos has driven the God Of War series into the pantheon of all-time great action games. It started with the fantastic PlayStation 2 debut, which delivered epic showdowns against mythological bosses and incredible combo-driven combat, all while pushing the aging hardware to new heights.

Bloodborne Ps4,

By 2005 the PlayStation had become the first console ever to ship 100 million units. PlayStation’s premier games included fan favourites such as Final Fantasy 7, Crash Bandicoot, and Tekken, all of which spawned numerous sequels. We aren’t interested in pointless number crunching or extraneous details - we just want to provide an easy to understand review that gives you an idea of what it's going to be like to play. And don’t for a second think that the games aren't tested fully because the reviews are concise. A PS4 exclusive, Bloodborne is from the same stable as Dark Souls and you can tell almost instantly. It matches its stablemate series graphically, albeit with current generation flair, but the main similarity is that both action-adventure/RPGs are as difficult as each other.

You'll journey across this island, reliving the samurai fantasy. There's even a Kurosawa mode, if you want to enjoy the entire game in black-and-white. You follow ex-SOLDIER Cloud and his misfit allies through the pseudo-futuristic cityscape, fighting security grunts, robots, and mutant monstrosities using an all new hybrid turn-based/action-combat system. Of course, the RPG's versatile Materia skill system is back, delivering dozens of ability options to choose from for tremendous character build variety.

Up until that point, we’d only experienced GTA‘s magic from a top-down perspective, raining chaos down from the heavens. But walking through the grimy city streets, shooting enemies with proper sights and ploughing through traffic with tanks in glorious third-person 3D was a whole new world entirely. There had been scary games before, sure, but Res Evil was a new, cinematic kind of scary in its approach to shocks. The most memorable of them – walking down a seemingly secure corridor you are suddenly pounced on by a bloodthirsty dog who’s jumped through the window – is enough to give us chills now, nearly 20 years later.

In other words, it's a video game, and an absolute blinder too. Marvel's Spider-Man is also Insomniac's Spider-Man, and while players weren't suffering for luxuriously tooled action games in the summer of 2018, Peter Parker just edges out Kratos as far as we're concerned. The sheer freedom and sense of fun that this game conjures is palpable. Jumping into Liberty City back in 2001 was like seeing colours for the first time.

It's thick with atmosphere, conjuring a world of soft lights and whirring disk drives with a vivid authenticity. For all that Gran Turismo lost, though, it gained an awful lot more; a sense of focus, as driving experts Polyphony set about creating a serious racing game for arguably the first time.
